I finally caught up with the tech tree and am producing starships now. But... why am I doing that? :D What are they for?

But I think its impossible to get back to the top - the GBT just doesnt allow for the high volume trading needed to accumulate real wealth anymore, but at least i have some ressources left so I can build stuff :)

As a new Warehouse System has been implemented, the former richest colony Betelgeuse is back on the map. You may always join our commonwealth as the only objective on our level is to make the game as fun for everybody as possible.
We still have (after a new rule, that might not or might have not been a good idea, destroyed most of our assets) about 58 Trillion left in the bank. We will try to regain a powerful position in the galaxy, but we can't guarantee anything - the new gameplay mechanics are still new. Anyways: We will try to build enough storage space for our billions of tons of assets and trade in accordance with the new trade laws.

Also: Please tell us, if something isn't going as planned by the dev. and we will comply, but please dont nerf all of our assests again!

Ok... my two colonies just lost 43,000,000,000,000,000,000$ in total. It took me a lot of time and effort to earn that amount. I understood the last windfall tax, as it balanced the game and didnt take everything away. But a tax of 100% is just taking all the late game fun away.

@colbya - I named the colony Betelgeuse, because thats the star of Ford Prefect's and Zaphod Beeblebrox' homeplanet in the hitchikers guide to the galaxy :D

@colbya I indeed dont have the highest population but my GDP is the highest in the game. All of united earth together has about 11 pentillion and Betelgeuse Financial Services Ltd. has 9 Pentillion in the bank. Betelgeuse, my main colony has over 30 Pentillion, but the game doesnt refresh the colony website for amounts over 10 pentillion.

So: 4th largest by population but 1st and 2nd by GDP. (There might be somebody with more whose GDP also doesnt refresh anymore, but I haven't heard of that by now)

Betelgeuse Financial Services Ltd. is the commonwealth, that manages the financial assets of the colony of Betelgeuse. With a GDP of over $9,000,000,000,000,000,000 the commonwealth has the highest displayable GDP in the game. Every Colony joining gets a 100 million dollar welcome bonus upon request and any ressources they might need.

Cooperation with any other factions, federations and commonwealthes is always welcome! Just send me your Embassies and I send mine back!

It was - but it's all earned through normal trades at the Galactic Board of trade. I focus on civics production and buy large amounts of ressources, bundle them and sell them at even larger chunks for a higher price. The service is, that i pay for the civics and offer amounts, that no one else offers. So people are able to overstock by buying my ressources without having to generate the civics for it.

In that case I take my offer back.

Oh I'm not trying to get new colonies :) I'm not asking them to join me - I'm just asking them to leave Kekistan - thats something different!

@Ottoich you have a similar amount of money. Are you impliying that you got it through cheating?

I never cheated in this game. All the money I have came from trades! You can see my trade-volumes in the galactic board of trade.

The Website of my colony https://www.my-colony.com/colonies/uUy34Pu1/ doesnt update anymore since about 1 week. I tried to save in various ways and turned cloudsync off and on again but it doesnt change my website :/ I can't even change the color and I dont know what else I could try :D I hoped the updated fixed this but I didnt :(

I would like to propose an option to send a gift to all colonies at once, so its easier to distribute ressource among the members of a commonwealth. Another idea is, to be able to save a "template" of what you sent so you can always click on that "package" and send the same ressources in the same amount again to somebody.

I will work together wth whatever federation wants. Send me your embassies!
But Betelgeuse will not join any federation - we a re neutral.
