I wonder if it would fix it if I could redo rhe acount setup altogether as if it was a new account?
4 tries so far. gives a login fail each time. glad I am attempting to login for a new game where the login connection is required instead of my current game.
Login still fails. I am not sure what is happening. The login used here works for the forums only it seems.
Login failed. will try again after loging out here.
frozen at the loading stage. Not even loading the game.
Oh I am using the windows store version of the game. Maybe I need to figure out how to change versions?
There are no error messages. It just returns to the original page. I was thinking of starting a new game but that is impossible without the login connection. Not sure what is happening. Could it be a conflict with the browser login?
I have problems loging in from the game. I have tried several times to login using my current login information and it still does not connect properly. Is there a fix for that problem?
I have also noticed that when starting a new game/colony the beginning options do not include online mode. It has only 3 basic modes available: The online mode requires starting under another charters requires playing under their charter (not sure what that involves). Creative mode (looks self explanatory). Offline mode which has an option after the start to switch to online mode from the status screen.

My thoughts are to either reduce the rate of change, or put the same range as the online GBT as the range for the offline prices. That way, the economy doesn't get torpedoed before you can fully build out your colonies.
Thanks,

I change over to online as a rule when I build the GBT. Before that the economics are much better in offline mode for some reason. After the GBT becomes available it seems to reverse the economics although I have yet to figure out what the reason is.
I admit I seem to be constantly restarting for one reason or another. So there are probably other factors that I haven't noticed yet.

From v0.51.0 onward, a colony is either an Online game or an Offline game from the start, there is no switching back and forth, although you will be able to take an Online colony Offline, you wont be able to undo it.
Would it be possible to key the online/offline mode decisions based on when the Galactic Board of Trade building becomes available. I have found that before that building is added its much better to play in offline mode since the overall benefits are higher in offline mode before and flips the other way after the GBT building is available.
I admit I tend to play all new colonies offline until the building is available then switch over. Of course I tend to keep restarting my colonies as well.
edited to add: Making the game default to online mode when the GBT is built might also work.
I just thought of another major factor in this. On the web everything is based on reputation. While your reaction is understandable it has gone to far. IT has the potential of doing major damage to your overall reputation. If that happens you have let those few bad ones make you throw away a major portion of that reputation. Most of the sales of your games and other programs is a result of that reputation. I hope it doesn't hurt it, but think carefully as that kind of damage is very hard to recover from. Talk or chat with your long time supporters ask them what they think.
One problem is none of the related buildings for these resources gives any storage information for the resource. Like I fired up the game and got a popup about more gold refineries needed. Question how much is stored per gold refinery. Each resource has some building directly linked to it. What is the storage capacity for each building?
Looks good except for this portion:
Storage Limits added: Aluminum, Uranium, Gold, and Clay now have storage requirements.
It might work better if there was some kind of storage facility added for these resources.

In this type situation click on the colonist Name then choose stats then for unemployed you can choose to hire them as long as a job is available. It will not change their assigned housing however.
My best guess is it only shows faster speeds for upgrade options. Same or slower speeds probably will not show as an upgrade option. Of course I could be wrong as well.
I should explain a little better. I was referring to the buildings that are: 1x2, 2x3, 3x4 or similar. I just thought it would be nice to be able to rotate them for placement. The buildings that are: 1x1, 2x2, 3x3 and so fourth can be rotated already though the flip command after they are built. The 90 degree rotation could be either a standard based feature or a premium based feature. Premium would probably be best however.
It would be nice to be able to flip the rectangular buildings 90 degrees during placement. Flipping before construction would make it easier to plan colony mapping layout.

0.44 is under development now and new buildings are being added. You may need to do a hard reload of your game if you're playing the browser version in order to see what has been recently added.
A hard reload of the game for updates might actually be safer. I have noticed that my game tends to freeze up during the updates when I am playing the game. Yet if I do a hard reload after unloading the game. Any updates go smoothly with no conflicts or other noticeable problems.
I should add that buildings that are upgrade able, it does not hurt to have more than one. As long as you limit the usage of the resources that are in limited supply until you can make more of them, such as Aluminum and Uranium. Although there are others. I limit their usage until I can create more of them.
