Can we get a QoL Update for Numbers at the challenges? E.g. Hovering over the amount spent (at the challenge bar) gives a small info on the exact amount spent.

Maybe also who is in the lead ( Which would interest me right now for the starship Challenge)

And a better Timer, which shows the time better than "x Days remaining".

I would like to see a visualited tech tree too, there was one on the reference page, but it has not been updated for decades and Sobe does not know how the original owner did it so he can not update it

Dear Colony Owners,

there was someone in the global chat who asked if there is a way to see what researches he already did.
And I could not find a way to do that. So now I am suggesting to add a small box in the research section which is tickable and when you tick it you can see the researches you already have.

What do you guys think about this small idea?

Now in 0.92 I can not open the game at all (Steam)

Steam- Error
Unable to Start Process of MyColony :
"Access Denied" (0x5)

This might be related to my virus protection that declares the Mycolony.exe as infested by a "FileRepMalware"...

I am playing MyColony via Steam on a Win 10 Computer.
I am not completely sure but I think after 0.90 came out, the game is not closing correctly/completely.
When I close the game the "MyColony" task is still in the TaskManager and using arrond 200 MB of ram.
If I decide to open it up and start playing again, I get an notification from Steam saying:
While updating MyColony an error occured ( Application is running) : 9916

That means I can only start MyColony correctly once after starting my Pc. Whenever I want to open it up again I have to go into the Task Manager first and end the Task manually. After that I can start MC again.

I was wondering if this is a mistake on my side, or if it is a bug in the program.

It is pretty easy. You need to higher your atmosphere to a certain level, once you reached it, you will get a notification and get new researchs. Also the texture of the ground will change and you should access to green bot / lumber bot and build single trees and later treefarms.

Check your Statisticpage, the Section called Government and look at the Top Concerns and the Approval Rating.

I am not 100% sure, since I never used it, but there's no direct sync between mobile and desktop version in general. I think you have to get into the colony you created and activate cloud sync in the statistics page (Overview), this could enable sync between the platforms. But also you might need to copy the game file and save it in the Save Files-Folder of your Computer, I am not sure where this folder is with Linux as OS.

(I think Cloud Sync works with an Service not connected to MyColony or Apeapps.

Premium is linked to your ape apps account, or at least it should be!
So you should have premium on all devices where you signed in your account.

Landing Pads, Cloning Facilities, Stargates, StarPorts

That is a rather hard question. I don´t think you should bother with IQ, unless you are lategame. (Because in the End game there are buildings which requires people with certin amounts of IQ)
Basically as long as you supplie your people with enough schools they should be fine and if needed get educated to get a job.
But to answer your question, I don´t think there is a way to get more studens, students are nothing else than people who are not working for the moment.

Let them be mad. As long as they are not really homeless don´t bother with it. It is probably only a "Top Concern"

A embassy is a placeable building. And you need to place it to get the embassy shown in your Embassies.
