I haven't experienced this yet but I've heard of colonists retiring due to wealth and that the fix is to tax them a few times to force them back to work. Also may help to reduce your welfare checks and check your salaries. Not sure if this is your issue but hope that helps. You can check average colonists savings in the statistics section as I'm sure you already know.

Perhaps? I'm currently working on knocking it down to see if it improves things. Just a resource crunch at the moment trying to build the alien atmosphere condensers.

To start, I want to mention that I have plenty of food, water, rum, and cloth. I have a surplus on most all resources and have an atmosphere of 15.5 million. I have built motels, hotels, resorts, a zoo, large park, shopping mall, obelisk, pyramid, restaurants, playhouse, house of horror and about 20 spaceports. All buildings have free space for access. I'm currently able to support 9,500 Tourists, however I'm unable to keep more than 10% of that at any time. I'm perplexed and not exactly sure if this qualifies as a technical issue or not understanding the mechanics.

I looked for advice or tips on this and was unable to find anything.

I started off with the LIS, built a Colonial Assembly, declared independence, issued about 7 charters, and decided to rearrange some buildings to compose a nice screenshot. I sold the Assembly thinking I would be able to rebuild it and now I'm stuck. It's simply not there and I'm too far past any way to recover. I've been frantically investing all research into anything government but I cannot get any building options to appear that would allow me to manage my charters. I'm working on the second Imperialism tech and still nothing. I have all prerequisite techs and resources to build another assembly or even a capital type building but nothing seems to change. I'm hoping this is a dunce moment for me and it's easily remedied! Any suggestions or clarification would be great!

Sounds great! 100% agreement. I used to promote a band I played for and we burned through several hundred dollars to "boost" our promo ads and posts. Didn't seem to make much difference which is why we quickly discontinued the practice.
