I have the very large fantasy habitats and obviously because of such a massive habitat it means the population is concentrated in one place, but the jobs can sprawl out miles away.
I have a very large colony and notice very minimal increase in production due to adding just 4 robot factories. I checked one of the workers and commute said "64"
Will this decrease work efficiency, because he has to travel so much?
Also because my people live in accommodation were (I suppose) robots do the mental tasks and rum is supplied, maybe I can get away with increasing the work policies, because they are so happy?
Any help/advice??
With colonist rendering turned off, commute distance has little impact on the colonists. You'll have to test out the work policies to see how they affect your colony since all colonies are different. What works for some, may not work well for you. Most players tend to use normal or light work policies unless they need a quick boost to production.
