Ok, I changed it to a relevant question (to me) to reduce clutter.
unfortunately no. This should be something that bast puts priority on since this is disturbing a lot of players, myself included.

God I hate the scrolling who has just arrived ( stops at 1000 )
and yes the Whos is on line and who just killed half there colonists With each colonists getting there very own death blirp .
I deleted colony's under large charted because of that photo .

It's annoying, I'll tell you that much.
I'm sure as I go further into the game these might become important, but at the moment it's 100% whack-a-mole situation just trying to play the game, and 0% important. I can't imagine that the dev that implemented these wanted it to cover the entire play screen within 3 seconds if that many folks sign on. Ridiculous.
Are they not going away on their own? They should only stay up for a few seconds
