How do embassies work?
I have seen lots of embassy requests in these pages. My question is: how can I send an embassy, receive an embassy, and/or what do they do.

You can send a embassay from your Capitol (or equivalent structure if you play Zolarg).
There is a special option called diplomacy. You fill in the chartercode, choose a embassy type, pay the costs for it and the other person only needs to accept it. It appears as 2 hands shaking in blue in the right corner left of the chat symbol. You dont get a message if the embassy is accepted or declined.
Embassies make communication and trade between commonwealths easier, you dont have to use the GBT, you can just gift resources. Other than that it doesnt have any purpose, unless you just like the buildings.

Thanks, but when I click the diplomacy option and enter a charter code, it doesn't let me select the embassy, even though I have enough civics and money for the mission
