An end to the auto-banner
Now that all online access for My Colony will require an Ape Apps Account, I am announcing an end to the automatic cheat-detection colony banner on the server. Instead, all detected instances will be logged and reviewed by an actual human (me for the time being) and a determination will be made whether or not to block the account from playing online or not.
Some time soon I will be completely re-doing the My Colony website with account login and online commonwealth management. At that point, I will probably ask for a couple of moderators to monitor the GBT and resource/population cheating. There will be a management console on the website that moderators will have access to. More info in the coming weeks!
