billions lol You know that one statue cost 175 million and the Hall of congress cost 500,000 million coins
thing is if you have a colony of say 500 k i will cost a million in payroll .
but using buildings to make coins is pointless even a 100 upgraded banks wont bring it in fast enough for a big colony . Alien artifacts are the over all best money maker .
say 300 upgraded sits and yo will be making well heck 10 k a hour or so which is 20 million coins exported . give or take a million .

3 to 5 billion 100 to 300 k colonists a fully developed colony with all resources in the green and 2 - 5 billion you are done finie . fact is you can balance the colony at most any point .
10 k colonists all resources green and not even sell stuff to make payroll.
it all depends on just how big you want to go and how much resources you want to bring in.

yeah, selling resources is the ticket to making big money. You don't have to sell artifacts though, you could just make enough to be self sufficient. But you are going to end up needing to trade at least something to keep up your growing population wages. Whether it's aluminum, antanium, triantanium, arts, uranium, oil, etc. doesn't matter. I've seen some pretty impressive aluminum and steel maps. I've also seen lunar maps with gigantic fields of he3 extractors and tanks, and those guys bank tons of money on he3 and rego.

All depends on how you want to build and speciallize your colony, but remember, you can't specialize in everything, there has to be one or two things that you build tons of while the rest is just to help you remain self sufficient.

i bil is pretty easy to get. I'm pretty sure that there are some colonies out there that are close to or above 1 tril. Don't aim for a tril though, aiming for maybe 100 bil would have you set for a long time.

My tactic was to create many maps, I think I had about 13-15, one for each resource. I never got exactly one for each resource, I did mostly important ones lik alu, uranium, ore, steel, cloth, wood, HE3/regolith, antanium/sugar, crystalline and many diamond maps (I would set resource to abundant mega map and then harvest all diamonds and ship them to myself then sell), robots (biggest one I made) with 40k robots a minute at 400k population just about and then the update with trash came out so it started goin downhill as with most of my colonies, I couldn’t afford to fix everything coming out in the new updates so I quit for like half a year but I’m back now and none of my maps work so I’m starting a new one from scratch under United earth. This was my trick to making billions of dollars legitimately, although there were a few cheats back then that got quadrillion’s and quintillion’s o dollars. So my best advice is to create maybe on submap with tons and tons of AA, Alu, and Uranium... anything that sells for the most and most people would not think to make and takes a long time (triantanium might be worth another try).

I used that to some extent before too - and do have a lunar map to provide regolith so I'm not constantly buying it. It's been made harder and more time consuming (in a good way) to strip a world of resources and ship it to the main colony with the resource trade limits. 300 at a time is more transferring than I care to do, even 3000, so you're aiming for a level 3 consulate to really get this going, and that takes some more work/time that balances it out a bit.

JaxxSilva, there is more tricks, have your main colony and then start a for example ore colony under the main. Then message the new colony with your main... receive it with your ore colony and reply. Then on your main there is a gift option, gift millions of all resources to the ore colony or whatever you need, mass produce civics/research/atmosphere (the things you can't gift) then unlock all the things you need and create the whole ore map, after this you can use your main to request millions of things on the gbt and then fill the requests with your ore colony. This let me get up colonies in 2-3 days as in getting all the things unlocked with the atmosphere research things, also you can give the ore colony food and water if you want so you never need to build any food or water buildings that take up space.

Also the thing is that all my maps would be outdated anyway as there are much more efficient ways to produce stuff, I might stick to just building a few colonies this time like one of each map type that I need, lunar (regolith), ant colony (all those products), Crystalline map (for all me crystals) and ship everything else in.
