For the past few days my colony's population has steadily gotten more and more insectoids and reptilians because of immigration. As well, there is unemployment that corresponds to the number of insectoids and reptilians.

Do reptilians and insectoids require their own species' jobs?

I don't think so
But try some thing
Take an insectoids or a reptilian who haven't a job and put him in a human work(where you have vacant job)
