Its been a while now ive been having this problem.

Sometimes i save a game, shut the computer down, and next day when i load it, the game is loaded at a previous stage. Meaning that my progress until the previous days last save is lost.

I have been trying to figure out the issue and this are the facts till now:

-If i leave the game unattended for a while, for example overnight and save it, it will loose the overnight progress.
-Sometimes i notice that when the game is slightly glitchy, for example rovers are not working properly or construction and buying windows are not working properly, it will not save and it will load from previous save.
-Few times, i saved the game, pressed return to title (saves the game again), close the browser, open it again, load the game and it's fine... Next day i load it, and its gone back to a previous save!

A question i have is where is the save file that it saves locally as is claimed in the options?

I have to export it manually every time?

I have also been having this issue for months (which is why I don't play much). I believe the issue is related to the cloud storage. Android works but my desktop saves don't update. The last message I get when loading is that it is sync'ing with the server.

Do you have any kind of ad-blocker on the PC that might be blocking the cloud server? it is cloud.ape-apps.com
Maybe add some kind of exception for that domain

I've been having the same issue for the last few months. It's noticeable after interactions with the board of trade. It seems to restore to a previous state without the benefit of the trades. Just today I sold 100 starships for 100 million and purchased about 500,000 Al. When I logged in tonight it was if the trades didn't happen. My colony is white cloud if that helps.

I also have the same issue. Lost some money and hours of gameplay after trading.

Do you exit the game properly after the GBT trade? It stores a copy of your resources before using the GBT, because people were abusing an exploit where they would post a bunch of trades and then close the game without saving, so that it wouldn't take their resources. The game now saves your resources separately, and syncs them again when you do a proper game file save.

I always do a save colony before exiting. It seems to happen when I log in for a short period and there have been trades that happen while I was away.

Oh shoot I don't have time to play
Save colony
Log out

Next time I log in it's as if the trades didn't happen.

I don't notice it as much if I do a few other things before I save colony and log out.
