Hey, is there a way you could add multiplayer, were if you have a friend nearby to easily talk to you could invite him to your my colony world and then 2 people could work on the same world. Would that be cool, or will it be impossible?
I think this is what bast is working towards. He already implemented the use of using LAN to allow two colonies to communicate. He also already implemented a feature that labels a structure, colonist, vehicle, or worker by a player. So that tells me that bast is planning to do everything that you just described. This stuff takes time though, as bast is one man.
I really like the idea of having two players working on the same region colony with two different accounts. In fact, I wrote a whole post of ideas called "select a region." It describes how users could work together as a team to build up a planet full of region colonies. It's pretty in depth, but I can imagine a feature like that would add a whole new element to mc.
