A little info on this new form plz
This did give me a idea .
Playing around with textures I accidentally changed the brown red Dirt to all top half of a space ship .lol
But then I realized this may be about different new types of modded maps and if so that i want to know .
So its not just changing the Ground textures right ?
Ps half tempted to change the dark gray ground in lava and the other 2 worlds but really lava should be that color .

Currently for v0.52.0 under the Modding section I am adding the ability to create custom map types that you will be able to play in offline mode and share with other users. You get to pick the ground type and add whatever terrain features to the map that you want.
At some point I will be expanding the available terrain features to include cliffs/hills and things like that.

well that looks good and looks like you can add deposits as well humm could be fun .

Thing is also looks like wile you can place any game resource you cant mine any game resource .
and wile I known things like the new bug resource dont even have a use yet it would be nice to be able to alest mine any thing that can be placed ( even if it meens mixing bugs and humans .
Personally I like this as there is use for resources so its not just plop .
at some point I just cant see development not including Mixed ( humans bugs reptiles ) online and off line colonys .
I meen really the bugs must have space flight and i am sure the lawyers ( aka reptilians will as well .
O one last note ( small mod maps only ? if so well I can always crunch civ points first to expand the map

Would you please add more placeable things and custom rovers to start with? This would be great.
