When you fully rely on the Ore Mines and Gold Mines late game, it becomes a hassle to check back and rebuild the mine every minute it so. It's even more annoying when the Ore Miners and Rovers get stuck inside the scaffold. It would be a very useful idea for the mines to automatically rebuild, so we can have time to focus on other things, and have the resources necessary to do so.
This has been suggested before, but there are much better ways of obtaining ore and gold later in the game.
That is for sure .
ore early stage 20 fracking plants = 5 k ore per mint apx
gold well 200 gold plants will bring in 9 k gold a mint
Really wish we had a alien gold plant
ore late game alien ore plant just ten will bring in well more then you will ever us.
Bots tend to slow the agme down and having 100 bots mining gold ore is a pain i get away from bots asp
Well I see both sides. Yes, bots are a pain and leg. But clay has to be rebuilt all the time as well. So a rebuild in set area could be useful
Docwho, I get your argument. Deep excavation sites produce only a small amount of clay and there's not really a structure that focuses on clay production. That could be something that could be added in order to help with the clay industry.
I tend to think that in late game, nothing should be micromanaged, but everything should move to a more automated playstyle, but the player should still have things to do and goals to reach to prevent the game from being an idle game. As a player progresses through a game like my colony, minecraft, or any other "start from nothing and end up with everything" game, things tend to get much bigger and much less micro-manageable as they progress through the game. I currently play a game called stoneblock(a modpack of minecraft) where you start with nothing but a world made entirely of stone and end up automating everything at end-game, but the beginning is always a massive grind, just like the beginning of my colony.
