Im having a huge issue right now where all of the sudden, my infrastructure repair costs are through the roof. It will be low and then BOOM! there will be a $100,000,000 add on. No idea whats causing it. Wish they would add a better breakdown of whats causing infrastructure costs so you can narrow down what is costing big time.

well, iirc it's rather simple, the price of all resources used in building a building is transformed into cash and that's used as the value of the building. When repairing it you pay (100-current state)% * the value of the building.
so naturally buildings that use triantanium and such cost quite a bit to repair.

Don't worry about repairs it doesn't influence the game. Below 10% the building gets deactivated and when it reaches 0% it explodes. It's cheaper to rebuild than to repair. And I haven't heard anyone suffering exploding buildings and my own colony is 3 years old.

I found out what it is. The hall of congress. at 97% it costs approximately $350 million to repair. It just sucks cuz i saved up to build it, and now I cant even repair the rest of the colony without dealing with that. I wish there was a way to mass repair by building or something.

That does suck, currently all buildings age at the same rate, no matter how big they are. There really needs to be a factor that detirmines how long a building ages and makes more advanced buildings age slower. I would say that this is a bug that needs fixing as it could cause major gameplay problems for others as well. You might not get the attention you need with this bug by posting it here though, so make sure to put in a support post regarding this.

Yeah, so the infrastructure repair calculation is 25% of the GBT cost of all resources required to build the structure, if you were repairing it from 0 to 100%. I do realize that it is pretty high though. I will be scaling back the repair costs for v0.77.0.
