5 new building ideas + MORE!
I have some ideas for techs, a new way to upgrade called merging, and of course, 5 buildings. These 5 buildings' names are: Mini research converter, Large Helium 3 extractor, Fusion reactor, atom compiler, and helium 3 degrader.
The mini research converter is an early game research converter that only is a 1x1 and consumes small amounts of research. It would have one worker, and be possibly built by advanced builder bot. I agree with there being a tech for this.
The Large Helium 3 Extractor would be a 2x2, built by construction drones, and have a helium 3 production of 10x the small extractor.
The fusion reactor is a late game way of generating large amounts of power. It would produce up to 1 million power, and consume hydrogen and helium (if hydrogen is added, of course) and produce insane amounts of water. It would employ 50 workers, and they would be needed for it to produce water. It would be somewhere within 5x6 to 12x12. It would need transcendence, next gen power production, and a new tech for it and other hydrogen-related abilities.
The atom compiler takes hydrogen and makes it into helium. It would employ around 15 workers, be a 2x3 and require the workers to be producing. I really do not know where on the tech tree this should fit in, but really anywhere past advanced construction would work.
Then comes the helium 3 degrader. You would need this to produce hydrogen. it would employ 60 workers and not need them to produce, except having them on duty would largely increase their production rate. It would be built by a megabot, and be a 4x3.
Merging would be where you can upgrade a building that would increase in size. So, if I shift clicked on 4 sm. helium extractors and was able to upgrade them to a large extractor, then I could click "merge", and ta-da it has became the large extractor waiting to be built.

lol neat idea I immange it would take massive programming to add this idea in as there is NO base programming for a idea such as this .
Really wish this idea had come up two years back .
In order to NOT mess up the game the are upgrading would need to have four not just one or two .
it is a neat idea .
