I was happy when update included feature for mobile players to be able to click name in chat to send gifts and message instead of finding charter code however when I opened so after updating I was unable to do it. I restarted app, restarted chat and still no luck in being able to do it. It's frustrating because I feel like I'm the only one asking people to message me in chat so I can send them gifts. I'm using Android

In the change log, it says that you must click the notification to open up the player's colonies

Yeah I will eventually add the ability to click the name in the chat window. The reason it is more complicated is that it requires changes to the chat server, since the in-game chat window is actually just an embedded web browser showing the chat server website.

You are able to click the chat and open up the person's colony name, and once you have clicked it, you must press the X to get out of the options for colonys menu and then you can send stuff and message. Pretty confusing, but works.(you must click the orange chat when you exit the messager.
