So why not the colonies develop cultural diversity to make your people happy, as well, having some cultural customizations for your city with the buildings?

But 7 wonders would be great idea.

I don't really see the point. My Colony is a fantasy / Sci-Fi game, far away from our reality. With even fantasy culture (insect, drac..).

I honestly prefer more fantasy structure, or from the pop culture (star trek, stargate, starwars, babylon 5, classic fantasy / sci-fi movie, book), and not "real" structure.
