Ape Apps

Hey all,

I'm playing on an iPad Pro 3rd generation, iOS 13.1.3, My Colony v0.97.0

The app crashes about 5 minutes after loading a city and starting to play (I haven't timed it exactly). It crashes no matter which save/race I load.

I created a brand new colony and that seems to be playing fine at the moment. I'd really like to play my other saves tho!

I also tried deleting and reinstalling the app. Still crashes but takes a little longer. Maybe 30 minutes or so?

And still randomly crashes on old saves after the most recent update to v0.98.0

The new colony I started that was working fine is also now crashing as well. 😭

The game is completely unplayable from crashing. I can't even pin point a cause. It happens when I tap on a building, buy a posting on the GBT, when I'm not even interacting with the game - just idling while bots build and resources gather.

I noticed something odd. I built some advanced cloning buildings and before I could save like I obsessively do now, the game crashed. When I reloaded the game, the buildings I just had built were gone. And so were the resources for them. I didn't have enough obsidian to be able to rebuild even one of the 6 I had just built.

Is there any other info I can provide that might help? I really enjoy playing this game and would like to continue.

I'm about willing to go thru the hassle of factory resetting my iPad to see if that helps. I'd rather not tho, I've got a lot of crap on here I'd rather not reload to it.
