Here is a video overview of some new Region stuff coming to v1.0.0.
The video demonstrates both automatic and template river/water generation, improved switching between regional maps, and the new ability to move bots from one region city to another. Enjoy, and stay tuned for more v1.0.0 new stuff!
As long as there is a free space within a 20 tile radius from the transfer spot, it should be ok. If not, idk I haven't tested that scenario. It will probably just get stuck in the building.
The new bot-teleport work without problem even with grp (in 1-2min test).
But.. just after the region creation, a can create more city without problem, but i can't enter already existing city until the render is complete. For enter in a city i need to create a new city, and navigate with the new system until i get in the right one.
Usually when we create a new city, the game will place at the center the start point (lander, queen, ecc). With the render map the center can be already occupied, and the lander will be place under other stuff :D
I for one like these new changes. I can't wait to play this when the update comes out.
My question is, will landers, being vehicles when in the air, be able to travel between cities? This isn't necessary as of course you can just create another city, I was just curious.
Also, with the new generations, there are bound to be some areas completely covered in water. Especially in water world. Would we eventually get a means of adding and removing land at a cost of resources? Perhaps it could be an end-game feature that costs tons of resources, as you would need it the most then. Water world reminds me of minecraft skyblock where the player needs to farm resources to make more room to build things. It could cost the player Aluminum and steel to build over-water platforms. This shouldn't be a priority thing though, was just wondering.
New easter egg lol
When making bots from what ever building builds them if you hover over the building wile the bots are being made instead of just seeing blue dots indacating how many left to build you see the accutal BOTS being built and how ever many are still wating to be built
