I have My Colony on my phone and purchased a premium license through the Ape Apps website and wanted to play it on my computer, but not through the web app, and was wondering if I could download it onto my computer without having to buy it through Steam or the Microsoft Store or if I would just have to buy it.

You can download Ape Apps Launcher, then play My Colony from the launcher. It's basically all the same as web though.
