Is it better to have many understaffed factories or a few fully-staffed factories?
Imagine I have 4 atmosphere condensers, each with one worker.
Would that be more or less productive than 1 atmosphere condenser with the same 4 workers all there?

In the long run, all the workers should be in the atmosphere condenses because you can fit more atmo condenses in the space that are fully filled than 4 times more with only 1 worker.

It would not make any difference at all. A building will always produce X amount of resources per round. However, the number of workers in the building at the time affect the speed of the round. So in the example above, by the time the 4 condenser with 1 worker all finish their production round, the 1 condenser would have finished 4 rounds and produced the same amount of water at the same rate of speed
Thanks! All that said, it still seems to make more sense to have fewer buildings because each building has a power cost.
Some buildings produce without having worker too(but very slow). not sure about the water condenser. but in general, having more is a problem because of power usage. if you have more then enough, that's not a problem.
