For the past couple versions, I've had the "Save Game" dialog in the lower right corner pop up and never go away. When I go to exit the game, sometimes nothing happens (back doesn't do anything). If I try to manually save, the save animated dialog comes up, but never goes away. Stays stuck on "Compressing Data". I've left it for ~1 hour before and it never finishes. When I restart the app and reload it's an older save than when I left it.

Not sure the exact recipe to create the problem, but I think it has to do with having the building details up (lower left corner) while it is trying to auto-save.. I feel like it's happened during exporting resources as well though.

I've had same thing happen on android too does it save bit just gets stuck have to reload. Works sometimes but other times doesn't.

There was a problem in the past with being connected to facebook and doing cloud sync killing saves. Maybe this is the same problem. Don't know.

I'm not connected to Facebook - just Google Play. I have a pretty large colony (10k clonists) - not sure if that's part of the cause.

Same here. Took forever to save. I force quit it, came back in and it was the old colony, before the last round of building stuff. I also lost like 50k alien artifacts that I mailed to it from a diff colony. Kinda sucks but whatever. It would be nice if it actually saved though. With all the force quits I changed my saves to frequent but I guess that doesn't work either.

Hangs = when you save the game, but it just says saving but never saves.

The game compression requires a bit of RAM. Try turning off save game compression on your statistics screen.

Ihave been having same issues right now on my note 4 it's been running new boot left on came back it opened where I left it now been running can't save.
Also had trouble yesterday on my. Motor Z2 Force kept force closing and not saving will add information.
