A way to make development of my colony easier
Perhaps ape apps could hire a second game dev to work on my colony. This would increase the quality of the game and also reduce the amount of bugs and exploits users encounter online.
But it would cost normally money and programmers get sometimes in conflict with each other (I know it through experiences) which would consume extra time
Quote from Fred Brooks:
What one programmer can do in one month, two programmers can do in two months
It's been suggested to our dearest dev many times and not to speak out of turn but he (very understandable) wants the freedom to do MC when he wants. He doesn't want it to be a job. No ambitions to become the next EA ;-)
clearly I think it would be nice if there was a second developer because already compare to antiquitas my colony has a huge default difficulty pushed that is losing interest aluminum already if in real life man goes on March he can necessarily build mine aluminum and in antiquitas BAST made the effort to add all the mine so why not in my colony? and it is true that a dexieme devellopeur give more didees and therefore the game would be even more efficient or a developer that corrects all the bug
i know 2 persone can help for free
-1 my big brother (he work on computeur)but don't know my colony
-2 me it could be bizarre but i am good to programe think
you do you know some pepole who can help for developement?
If I had a developer or a team of developers working for me, My Colony would have to turn into a Pay to Play game to support the salaries. Even then I could probably only afford contract labor as (especially in the United States), salary is only a portion of the money an employer has to pay for a w2 employee. You have compliance costs and other regulations, unemployment insurance, you have to pay 1/2 of their social security and medicare costs, etc.
You guys need to realize I am not EA or Microsoft or even the guys who make Candy Crush Saga. There is a reason My Colony is free with only a few premium features offered at a very low price. You may think you want My Colony to grow into something bigger than it is, but when you realize the changes that would be required to support that you would probably think again.
Think of every other free to play game on the market, how they nickel and dime you around every corner. It's not just that those developers are greedy, that is what it actually takes to support a team of developers. I have people playing My Colony who moan about the price of Premium (a mere $3) which isn't even necessary to progress in the game. Just think if I had to start charging for gems or something. Buy 100 gems for $5 and speed up your build time. It would ruin the game, but I could probably afford a couple of developers, a graphics guy, and a sound effects guy. The game would look great.

i don't like this part :
'Just think if I had to start charging for gems or something. Buy 100 gems for $5 and speed up your build time. It would ruin the game, but I could probably afford a couple of developers, a graphics guy, and a sound effects guy. The game would look great'
i think it is normal
