Copple of things:
Mabey have a bulding that will let you go to different places of the planet beacase i dont think that the planet stops at the colony border.
This is a bit crazy but a hole in the grownd (like the underground housing module) that will let you get to diffgerent layers and different ores. Solar pannels wond work and landing platform and space port wond work there.
PC support. I am not sure if this already a thing bit if it isn't. It would be fun to ad that.

When it is dark some things will work better or worse dempending of what they are. For example solar pannels will.generate less power when it is dark.
And that will bring me to somthing els a nicht solar pannle that will work better if it is dark.

we have already this no 1 but 2 the deep dig side and the ultra deep dig side
for the moment in the night and the day it could be 'biautiful'
and for the last it could be a good idea but it is complicate to do night panel (for the transition)because it will take place and ressource
