It's definitely something in the latest android update.. when I reset my pixel, it plays until the last android 14 update hits.

Then it says, failed to open game for current games,


And because of the encryption error it never saves new games.


I can send you my pixel tab if you want.. can't give up the pixel phone

Ok, reset my tablet, game loads until the latest android update runs, then it starts doing the uncompress loop

I'm not sure when it happened but sometime with the last few days, My colony has started not letting me open the game. All of my local saved games can't be loaded, even the ones backed up online, there was an Android14 update, plus the bug fix release. In my attempt to troubleshoot the game, I started a few new colonies, and got the same error, however, today I keep seeing an error that may be the clue. I'm getting a compression error trying to auto save, maybe android 14 changed the compression scheme during the update ?.

I'm trying to figure out how to load previous versions of the game, but haven't figured that out yet. Any help?

I accidentally deleted a subregion and now it's just a blank square in my region.

None of my backups had the new sub region in it

Is it stuck that way forever, or is there a fix?

It's nearly impossible to see the research menu, so just click til it asks for ape coins.

I saw your reply in the feed, but can't see it in the forum, this is on a pixel tablet and a pixel 7. I play on both devices. Latest updates and Android 14

I've uninstalled and reinstalled, still small.

My menu screens for my account(premium, etc, and game settings are extremely small, did I somehow do this?
