When you can play and get to the end-stages of the game in less than a month, it is a game that will need to provide more late game innovation to keep the audience interested in continued play.

I would consider my self a seasonal player given the nature of my job and busy schedule, been playing since V 0.20 and I don't play much if at all between April and November and when I come back, I can start anew colony and be up to date on all the changes within 2 weeks. A new player can play through the whole game in less than 5-6 weeks or less depending on speed of game play.

If the goal is to keep interest in the game until formal release, I would suggest that a larger team be leveraged to keep up the pace of development. I also know that reading the forums since I started that there are people wanting and willing to help as well. Some of which just want to volunteer their time to contribute and maybe get a building named after them in the game or something.

Just my 2 cents as I have been playing for quite some time and experienced most of the major growing pains and having lost colonies to the updates and changes over time yet remained with the game through it all. Look forward tot he final release.

You can't join after you declare independence. Have to do it before then if you want to be part of his commonwealth.

It was worth a try, but once you are independent, all bets are off. Not a huge deal, but if you are interested in starting another colony with me or starting over I can get you the resources you need quickly to get a good operation up and running. Installing mass transit systems like: Subway stations, train stations, Mass Transit Bus Stations, Taxi Services, Light Rail, Uber, Etc could provide a conduit for decreasing unhappiness due to long walks to work. You could also incorporate repair or maintenance facilities to support these public utilities as well for blue collar jobs.

Greater incorporation of the concept could also lead to building/installing and maintaining the actual train tracks/subways tunnels as well.

Each station could have a zone of influence and maximum impact once the asset is saturated with population density that would represent 100% utilization of that asset.

I have noticed recently in the last 2 days that it takes an obscene amount of time between being able to submit or purchase consecutive transactions. Sometime up to 20 seconds before I can make another one. Is this intentional? Are others noticing the same thing?
