Things I learned the hard way (Human)
Do not build any structures that consume robots (Advanced Synthetic Oil Lab, Advanced Plastic Factory and Center for Artificial Learning) unless you have enough Robot Factories..
Robot Factories, in turn, require a lot of Aluminum and Microchips.
To build Advanced Microchip Factories you will also need a substantial amount of Aluminum.
Aluminum, once your surface supply runs out, requires either a lot of money so you can buy it or a lot of Aluminum Generators so you can make your own..
Aluminum Generators require a lot of Microchips and Gold. (See above warning about Advanced Microchip Factories).

yep good advice
Robots and al are the two that get burned The intelligence building burns 125 robots per round .
basically one decated advanced robot factory will barly keep up .
the advanced robot factory burns 125 al per round .
Takes a wopping 50 to 60 al plants to keep up .
To run teh admin plants and trillion plants enough plants to bring in good amounts takes a minim of 12 - 15 advanced robot factory's and 300 al plants .
this is minim .
Hey there ForcedMiner, I'm happy to buy some ant paste! Since it's a very basic resource for the insectoids it's pretty annoying how high the price is set on available contracts most of the time. A million per hundred? I'm not paying that.
we can make a deal. if you send me sugar, you will get 80% of it in ant paste. what about that?
Its me Lego.
I actually found manual harvesting to work better than the cane farms.
Can't have enough antpaste. Have one area totally devoted to it. Critical to making aluminum mining happen.
or just for akfing :D Who likes to replace his mines every few minutes.... if he can build thousands of aluminium generators instead. LOL.
Its me Lego.
The Insectoid Sugarcane farm is the problem. For the same amount of water you get less sugar and see higher initial and operating costs.
The only thing that can produce aluminum is medium recycling centre in my base now...
You may know me as FelixPSY375 or MintyDexter69 on other games and platforms
work towards getting some excavation sites after researching the deep digging tech, and those will give you some alien arts. Once you get 200 of those and you get the required research amount, you can research alien language tech, which will let you build aluminum gens.
The alum gens are expensive, so make sure you have tons of gold gens and basic chip factories. I would try to get at least 1000 of each. Also, build an excavation site whenever possible. It's overkill, but that's what is going to push you through the alu bottleneck. It's better to spend more time in the beginning of the game building tons of less advanced stuff than it is to spend lot's of time at the end taking forever just to build one advanced structure. If you have tons of basic chip factories, which don't take much to build, you can accumulate tons of chips by the time that you get to building alu gens. Don't worry about wasting space as long as you have at least a large map, since you'll replace all of those factories with 10-20 alien chip factories that still produce 10x more than what those tons of factories produced. So attempt to fill up your space in the beginning with less advanced stuff, because it will help you in the long run and you can free that space up later. Use the space that you have earlier on to the fullest that you can.

Once you get enough resources, the Robot HQ is a god when it comes to robot production. I get about 60/min with just 200 out of the 700 workers.
Feel free to reply or talk to me.
