I can’t find it anymore. I remember this option was somewhere before. You can always sack the new colonies if you don’t want to go offline.

There used to be a toggle in the first screen of statistics but, as you probably has notice, no longer.
offline mode maybe?
Offline mode means that any sub colony you have is also independent when the main goes into offline mode. That is why we want the private toggle back, so we can be online and ONLY have the sub colonies we want in our commonwealth. At least for those of us that want to be self sufficient. :)
Put in a Commonwealth edict that tells them not to join, or they get kicked out.
