Is there any knowledge on how far the devs are on fixing the bug where employees stop working for no reason at all?

I have done 4 or 5 fire drills, they don't seem to work or don't work completely. After an small amount of time, it is back to the shitters with this bug. But I'll guess this way will have to suffice for now.
In my experience Fire Drill has always killed my cities. Never once have my cities benefited from it.
