why do the protesters kill themselves
I don't think they actually kill themselves. I think they eventually get tired of protesting and eventually dies.
they have 0% energy I guess. without energy, thy can't move. they starve to death because no ambulance came to save them ;) You should make sure that your housing isn't too far away from your jobs, so that they don't have to walk too long to go there. they won't have any time to entertain themselve and regenerate energy.
