I felt the need to change my colony's name, and thus the commonwealth's. The Commonwealth of Ix is now the Commonwealth of Groddle.
EDIT: One big reason for this change was that I saw a colony named XI posting on the GBT.

Due to a change in priorities I scrapped my Food Processing Sweatshops in favor of Vertical Warehouse Farms. The result is... yellow-ish.

I am seriously considering doing another revamp of my default layout due to the discussion in this thread, but that will cost a lot of resources so I will be starting out small; the empty sector with the internal roads will be my test sector.
