Depleted Regolith !!!
I just lost all my regolith! I'm on lunar and I can't build the mines without having any regolith and I don't have anyway of making more! What can I do?! If I don't have regolith I have a s**t colony!

You can't make regolith mines? The regolith miner should be able to make those.

I just had the same problem I managed to fix as Forcedminer suggested.
I made a solution to prevent this in the future and thought I would share it,
What I did was build a Regolith mine along an edge and surrounded it with h3 extractors so it can't be mined until I sell one.

also remember that, if you are in the middle of building many mines, you can cancel all of the mines to reclaim some of the regolith invested in building them and then focus all of the resources regained into one single mine. Then all you have to do is turn off your ore compactors and build more mines.
Until I'm able to get a good amount of regolith extraction inc. s on a lunar map, I end up devoting an entire quarter of my map to a building a regolith mining array, (4 tile thick lines of mines surrounded by roads and then regolith gathering points on other sides of those roads so the bots can just sit there and gather superfast. this design can be stacked over and over again.). I still don't get much storage from the basic resource sites, but at least i can tell how much I've used and how fast I'm using it based on how many mines are left and how fast they diminish. Makes life much easier

Turn off all compactors sell as many as need to get 500 reg
Build mine - turn on ONE compactor so you can mine - get 500 reg build another then start turning on compactors as more comes in .
That is any under earth . under lis its much more of a pain you must balance crystals with how fast you build compactors as no reg miners on lis just the rovers and the mini mine is made with crystal .
BUT in both cases get teck up to the chemical 750 research cost build a few chip plant and build a few advanced reg making plants ( they produce 10 ore to every one reg ) ten of them works as well as many many compactors
