buildings not working properly - Page 2

One method that also seems to work is a Fire Drill if you have a government building of at least level two (unless Zolarg). Afterwards, go back to the title screen and then reopen the colony. That should help jump start things.

Suggestion though, especially if you have lost a lot of colonists: Deactivate ALL buildings but food/water production, house and power buildings before doing the Fire Drill so that it forces people into those jobs first.

Thanks for the tip! Things seem to have smoothed out in one colony; the other I've kinda lost interest in lol...

Hi! I have the same problem. Colonists stop working in their buildings. It happens randomly in all buildings. If I click on the building I see that production is not proceeding at the full speed or is not proceeding at all even if maybe the building it's full of workers. Then I click on the list of his workers and after that the list is actually updated so the production restart with the real number of workers. Sometimes this number it was correct, sometimes it wasn't at all. In that moments the workers that weren't actually working exit from the building moving toward hospitals (maybe not the ones empty and closest to that position) or their houses to sleep or to the government building to protestate (for what???) or even to a random place in the desert far from the buildings... And in this last case there they disappear. Sometimes I click in the list or workers on a colonist that's not working and I discover that he is away from the city, not visible and his energy and health are finished. Moreover sometimes people just stand in a place doing nothing while their action is actually "moving".
When this situation goes on and I can't fix it in time by clicking on ALL atmosphere condensers to restart them, there is a crysis, so I have to stop all buildings except for water and food production ones to force unemployed colonists to go there to these jobs. But it takes a long time because even if these buildings are the only ones active, only a few of people go there for work and they remain empty. So unemployed people grow and unhappy too and without water and food they die.
Please, fix these bugs. They are still happening for at least a couple of months and it's impossible to go on with the normal game, that is pretty nice.
I play on a Samsung S7 with Android 7.0. Version 0.49.0. My colony has more that 13k colonists.
Thank you

Try to check top citizens concerns and see what could cause them

at the moment 41% homeless (I don't know why...) and 36% fatigue, poverty 8%, unemployment 7%. but the most of the times I've checked on a specific colonist having a strange behaviour, he was happy, no less...
For a long time I havent' realized that the problem was diffused to all the colonist and all the buildings, because you feel immediately the lack of water, but not the lack of research points, for example. so at the beginning my attention was focused only on atmosphere condensers.
For me it's a little bug that causes a chain of bad events....
I've thinked that the problem was the salary and so I've add 1$ of basic salary..
I've thinked that the problem was the distance of the house buildings from some job buildings (maybe the colonists
gradually get tired because of the distance) and I've built some new of them in the middle of other buildings full of workers...
nothing......

Have you tried fire drill ? Sometimes I got the same (high homelessness for no reason) and I just fire drill and it leaves for a while
And for the work I have noticed that higher than "light" will cause the fatigue to increase so sometimes, I put it on light to decrease it a bit
It may also be because the sum of all the concerns has to be 100% so if they have everything they need what does it do / mean ? I don't really know about that

I've just noticed for that buildings with an animation that aren't producing, also their animations are stopped (just to give another clue)
Btw the fire drill doesn't fix my problems. I could try with the "light" level sometimes...

The sum of the main concerns have to be 100 but I have 95% of approval rating... So the problems are about only 5% of colonists.
In this screenshot you can see the buildings that I've just restarted by clicking on their lists of workers on the top (in fact they're producing) and the others not restarted recently on the bottom. All that atmosphere condensers and research labs just freezed...... And this happens every few minutes...
It's impossible to play this way...
