Instead of an obvious solution which is (at least for me, may be im retarded) stop gbt for some time or something like that why not tax everyone ? seems legit

Stopping the GBT would have had the same effect. Everyone with a trade empire would shout and scream. Plus it punishes new players who use the GBT as shortcut to get ahead faster. Its the only reason why we still have the GBT. But I do believe if something like this (hacking, exploiting etc) happens again he will seriously consider making it a offline game. As he says in these releasenotes. I dont believe it's a shallow warning.

I am soooo glad I play this game to amuse myself with how things work and not to amass great amounts of resources or money... In the long run, I am glad Bast took the time to make some changes to the GBT to even the playing field for everyone.

lol I dont expect to pay for something that is not my mistake when i play a game and to block gbt was just a fast way to give an anwser (and u automatically jump and say no its not possible, thats what i like with people)

shouldn't repair costs drop with the prices on the GBT? I had kinda thought that its calculated from what the average cost for the buildings recources was.

And your argument is not really valid because everyoen with a trade empire is already "crying" but all the others that are not concerned are also "crying"
