Bast, thanks for explaining that more clearly, I think that's all the explanation you 'owe' any of us! Sorry I misunderstood the one-time tax as being a new money cap, I thought the guys complaining about not being able to repair their infrastructure were saying they were no longer capable of raising their funds high enough to pay it. You might still want to consider adding an 'end' to the game at some point in the future, like Minecraft or Soda Dungeon.

People complain about lack of funds, because they have set high payrolls for their workers and sub colonies. Its like when you become rich and you get used to this life of luxury and suddenly you're income drops. It takes time to adjust your lifestyle to it. Some can and will, others can't and won't. There's nothing in the game that makes it impossible to play now. It's just more challenging now and not everyone seems to like that.

How to eliminate your colony? Easy! Forget to set your eyes on power plants for a moment and go make some tea, while drones building some huge constructions. When you are back, your storages and warehouses would evaporate all goods and resources in few seconds! No more uranuim for nuclear reactors, no more water for hydrogen reactors.. You'd better listen to greenies, but it's too late - the last colonist is passing away.. "So funny.." - he thought. - "Now we are going to be the ancients, whos relics can become a valuable resourse for future civilizations..."

I love this game, but I think it's better to wait for new versions and take some time to cool down my butt, cuz it hurts heh.
